Self-adhesive floor tiles are ideal for easy floor renovation. No extra adhesive or impact sound insulation is necessary. Thanks to the dry-glue method, self-adhesive vinyl tiles do not require any additional adhesive and are easy and dust-free to install. For dust-free installation, all you need is a tape measure, metal angle and carpet knife.
For professional installation results, you should make sure the subfloor is in optimal condition. The ideal surface is levelled and treated with a special primer. As the self-adhesive vinyl planks are only 2mm thick, any unevenness in the covering, no matter how small, will be visible. Before laying the self-adhesive PVC, ensure that the subfloor is firm, dust-free, dry and free of cracks, dirt, grease or oil.

Self-adhesive vinyl flooring needs a very smooth subfloor. Tiles with your grout pattern are therefore not ideal. This is because the grout pattern then becomes visible in the vinyl flooring. You can remedy this by filling the tiles.
Yes, adhesive vinyl is always made of solid vinyl. The material is absolutely waterproof. However, please note that adhesives vary. Some adhesives are only waterproof for 6 hours. This is sufficient for normal use in the bathroom.
You can use all smooth and firm subfloors. Absorbent subfloors require a subfloor pre-treatment with primer. Be sure to follow the installation instructions.
No. With self-adhesive vinyl flooring the adhesive is already included on the back of the vinyl tile. In some cases, however, you will need to apply a primer to the subfloor to achieve the optimum adhesion effect for this type of installation.
