General information on the Battery Act (BattG).

Disposal of batteries in normal household waste is prohibited and violates the Battery Act. Consumers are obliged to take batteries to a suitable collection point. You can return your batteries and accumulators free of charge:

  • at public collection points
  • at places where batteries and accumulators are sold
  • by post to our warehouse:

Batteries and rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are clearly marked with the symbol of a crossed-out dustbin. Below this symbol will be the chemical name of the pollutants contained, such as lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd) or mercury (Hg).
