Real tiles may last a long time, but at some point they will deteriorate and will need replacement. The least amount of work is involved if the tiles are self adhesive. However, you don't necessarily have to use real tiles made of stoneware or similar materials. Much more practical are self adhesive vinyl floor tiles, which are also non-slip and warm to the feet. Even non-professionals can install them themselves, and they also offer other advantages. Our self adhesive vinyl floor tiles are a practical and easy-to-handle alternative to roll format flooring. A major plus point is that vinyl is a durable material that requires barely any maintenance.

Easy installation guaranteed

The only prerequisite in order to be able to install the practical vinyl floor tiles in the self adhesive variant is having a level subfloor. This may need to be treated with a levelling compound so that the surface is flat. However, it always depends on which floor covering was on it before. The subfloor should also be clean and dust-free.

As the tiles are self adhesive, they are easy to install. It is advisable to store them in the room for a day before installation. This allows them to get used to the room climate, so that tensions in the material disappear. When installing the vinyl floor tiles, start along one wall. There is a foil on the underside that only needs to be peeled off. Then the tiles only need to be pressed firmly against the subfloor. To cut them to size at the edge, a conventional cutter knife is all that is needed. If the material is somewhat thicker, a jigsaw can also be used easily. However, neither special tools nor special craftsmanship are required to achieve a good, attractive result with these modern vinyl tiles.

Yet it is not only the fact that the tiles are self adhesive that turns out to be a great advantage. A vinyl floor is also very easy to clean. When choosing, however, attention should be paid to the so-called abrasion class. In rooms that are heavily frequented, such as the kitchen and the hallway, a vinyl floor with a high abrasion class should be chosen. In a bedroom or private office, the floor is usually less stressed. Self adhesive vinyl floor tiles that have a low abrasion class will therefore suffice there.

A broom or hoover is suitable for daily cleaning. If the self adhesive vinyl floor tiles have become more heavily soiled over time, they can be cleaned with a special Vinyl cleaning product. This also applies a new sealant at the same time. This provides the tiles with a new protective layer.
