Adhesive vinyl tiles – special features

The special properties of tile-effect adhesive vinyl include low installation height and easy laying. This makes the flooring perfect for renovations as you don’t have to adjust doors to allow for the new floor. The vinyl can be walked on almost immediately after installation and is water-repellent and easy to clean. Depending on the wear class, tile-look vinyl flooring can be used in all private and public areas. Products with a wear layer of 0.5 mm are suitable for heavily used areas. For heavily used public areas, a 0.7 mm wear layer is recommended. Tile-look adhesive vinyl flooring is water-resistant, easy to clean and resistant to household chemicals. In addition, this floor covering has a long service life and ecological credentials. The adhesive vinyl from our range is free of harmful substances and does not affect your health or pollute the environment.

Laying tile-effect adhesive vinyl

The subfloor for adhesive vinyl tiles should be even, dry and clean. The room temperature should be at least 18°C when laying the tiles. Before starting work, it is recommended to acclimatise the covering in the room at room temperature for at least one day. After measuring, installation can begin. Glue-down vinyl flooring is installed with a special adhesive on a levelled subfloor. This adhesive vinyl is easy to install on your own, as long as you follow the manufacturer's installation instructions.
