planeo facade protection 2 L

planeo Facade Protection is a water-soluble, white, silicone-based impregnating agent that offers both protective and decorative properties. It is suitable for water-repellent treatment in both indoor and outdoor applications.

Application:

The impregnating agent is intended for use on concrete and plaster brick slips, sandstone, clinker, plaster blocks, roof tiles, etc. Before starting work, the surface should be thoroughly cleaned of dust, dirt, oil or greasy substances. Surfaces that are not to be treated, such as windows, metal or wooden elements, and polished stone, must be carefully protected. Shake well before use. The treatment should be carried out on dry, rain-free days at a temperature between +5 and +25°C.

Application:

Brick slips should be treated once using a spray application. For concrete brick slips and other surfaces, the waterproofing can be applied with a brush or, alternatively, by spraying. The waterproofing agent should be applied evenly. For highly absorbent concrete surfaces, a second coat is required (wet-on-wet). Depending on the absorbency of the substrate and the temperature, an additional coat may be applied, but no later than 20 minutes after the first coat. The impregnated surface should be thoroughly and evenly wetted.

Coverage:

One container of planeo facade protection is sufficient for a single impregnation of 8–10 m². Coverage depends on the absorbency of the substrate and the application technique used.

Storage:

The impregnation agent should be stored in its original packaging in dry rooms at a temperature between +5 and +30°C. The shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
