Installing solid vinyl flooring correctly

Installing solid click vinyl is quite simple. The individual boards are simply clicked together. This creates a stable and durable connection. When installing, just be sure to create an expansion joint on all four walls of the room. This is necessary to allow the vinyl floor to expand when it needs to (when heated by underfloor heating).

The individual vinyl tiles are clicked together in sequence. Then, the last panel in each row is cut to the correct size. The best way to trim is with a cutter knife. Once the first row has been laid, the second row is started. This simple method means that even large rooms can be covered with click vinyl flooring in a short time. Click vinyl is not glued down, but laid as a floating floor, so the right underlay or insulation mat is important.
