planeo WPC hollow chamber substructure - 2.90m 60mm x 40mm

The planeo WPC hollow chamber substructure is the proven basic system for a stable and durable WPC decking. It has been specially adapted to the requirements of the planeo WOODLine and MAXLine WPC-CoEx decking boards and forms a foundation of the same material for your project.

• Optimum system compatibility: As the substructure is made of the same WPC material as the boards, both components have almost identical expansion behaviour. This minimises stresses in the overall construction and increases the dimensional stability of the decking.
• Lightweight hollow chamber structure: Thanks to the hollow chamber profile (60 x 40 mm), the beam is significantly lighter than solid wood or solid profiles, without sacrificing the necessary load-bearing capacity. This makes transport and handling on the construction site considerably easier.
• High resistance: The material is resistant to moisture, rot and insect infestation. In contrast to a timber substructure, no regular painting or impregnation is required, which minimises maintenance costs.
• Flexible installation: With an installation height of 40 mm, the profile is ideal for standard installation heights. It can be used both on solid surfaces such as concrete slabs and in combination with pedestals for precise height levelling.
• Sustainable and environmentally friendly: WPC is a sustainable composite material that combines the natural properties of wood with the resilience of modern plastics and is fully recyclable.

Note: When laying the decking, make sure you have a firm, load-bearing surface and observe the recommended support spacing to ensure that the decking can withstand permanent loads.
