1. Substrate preparation
It is critical to inspect the substrate before wallpapering the roll. It should go as easily as possible. Sand the walls and fill any flaws. The substrate is primed permanently and installed objects are masked off. It is best to use an approved adhesive with high adhesive power that has been diluted with 20-30% water. Using a roller, apply the primer. A brush is used to paint the corners.

2. Preparatory work
Use a spirit level to determine the number of meters needed, then cut the roll wallpaper to the desired dimensions. To be safe, the edges are taped with masking tape (leaving 5mm visible) to keep the wall clean. Make sure to unroll and stick the roll wallpaper in the same direction each time.

3. Glue roll wallpaper
With a brush, apply the appropriate wallpaper adhesive to the edge areas of the strip, and then coat the surface with a roller. The rolled wallpaper is then straightened and firmly pressed against the wall. Allow a 5 mm gap between each wallpaper. Get rid of any air pockets. A cutter knife can be used to cleanly cut off the edges of the wallpaper. The next sheet is then cut to size and glued on. Roll the wallpaper joints with a seam roller in the next step for a smooth transition.
Tip: Wipe away any residual paste with a clean cloth right away.

4. Fill joints
The joints between the wallpapers are taped with paper tape in the last step, and the finished joint compound is applied with a spatula. Then, before the tape dries, peel it off directly. The skirting boards are then attached.
