Senso Urban from Gerflor is easy to install

The vinyl floors in the Senso Urban collection from Gerflor are self-adhesive and can be installed directly. No additional adhesive or impact sound insulation is required. Note that the subfloor must be thoroughly cleaned and be load-bearing and without joins. On a wooden floor, it is therefore advisable to first lay chipboard or OSB boards. This makes it easy to create a level subfloor.

If you want to lay Senso Urban professionally, start right in the middle of the room. The centre can be marked by stretching a piece of string diagonally between opposite corners in the room. To install the vinyl, simply peel off the backing foil; the centre of the board first touches the subfloor and is then pressed firmly from the centre outwards. The arrows on the underside indicate the direction of installation. If this is followed, the new floor covering from Gerflor will be perfectly aligned.

Gerflor Senso Urban: special features

Gerflor's Senso Urban vinyl floors can be installed above hot water underfloor heating systems without any problems. However, the heating should be switched off one day before installation, during installation and one day afterwards. Otherwise, the adhesive may harden too quickly due to the high temperature.

Ease of cleaning is always a particularly important aspect of flooring. The vinyl floors of the Senso Urban series from Gerflor can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth. In case of heavy soiling, a vinyl cleaner can sometimes be helpful. In the case of very heavy use, the surface can also appear somewhat dull after several years. This problem can be remedied with a special vinyl care product which will make the Senso Urban vinyl floor from Gerflor shine like new.
