Decking boards made of the innovative wood-plastic mixture WPC have an unmistakable grain pattern. They look and feel like grown wood. The abbreviation WPC stands for Wood Plastic Composites. These are intelligent composite materials that are composed of up to 70% wood components. Thermoplastics and other additives make up another 30 percent. WPC decking brings with it the advantages of a high-quality wood-plastic composite material, such as the material's malleability and high resistance to moisture. A WPC deck is crack- and splinter-free and therefore very barefoot-friendly. The elegant planks are weatherproof and, unlike wooden planks, are resistant to insects, fungi and moss. In addition, the WPC planks are easy to clean - water and a soft brush are usually enough.
