The light almond-coloured wood tone of the Garapa tree (Apuleia Molaris) is an exception among the usually dark tropical woods. The excellent technical properties guarantee long durability and good longevity. The almost knot-free trunks create a very calm and warm patio appearance.

• Quality: Prime (high quality control)
• Wood colour: yellow-brown
• Wood structure: even and knot-free with few glossy streaks
• Gross density: 800 kg/m³
• Wood moisture: technically dried to approx. 14-16%.
• Tolerance: thickness approx. +/- 1 mm | width approx. +/- 2 mm

Hints:

• Over the years, the light colour of Garapa can darken to nut-brown.
• With up to 25 years of outdoor durability with little maintenance required
• Due to the high density of the wood and the dimensionally stable hardness, we recommend pre-drilling screw connections.
• Wood is a natural building material. Natural colour differences, slight cupping, transverse curvatures and twisting may occur. This is no reason for complaint. This does not affect the durability and strength of the product.
