planeo Elastic Dispersion Adhesive 5 KG

Properties:

planeo Elastik dispersion adhesive is an elastic adhesive that comes in the form of a dense paste. With a thin-layer application thickness of about 2-3 mm, it has a high adhesive strength and can be used in many ways inside and outside rooms. Please note that this adhesive is not suitable for layer thicknesses of more than 4 mm. It does not discolour natural stone and is water and frost resistant.

Application:

planeo Elastic Dispersion Adhesive is suitable for bonding decorative bricks, concrete and gypsum tiles, clinkers and ceramic tiles for wall and floor installations. Suitable substrates are concrete, anhydrite and cement floors, aerated concrete, bricks, cement plaster and cement-lime plaster, as well as gypsum plaster, gypsum plasterboard and gypsum fibreboard, rigid chipboard and coarse chipboard.

Preparation of the substrate:

All substrates must be sufficiently dry, load-bearing, cleaned and free from insulating materials. Unstable mortars and coatings with insufficient adhesion must be removed. Concrete substrates should be allowed to dry for at least 6 months, renders and concrete screeds for at least 4 weeks, while anhydrite screeds should be at least 2 weeks old and must be sanded and dusted before application. Chipboard and coarse chipboard should also be sanded and thoroughly dusted. The surfaces should be primed with a suitable primer before application.

Preparation of the adhesive:

planeo Elastik dispersion adhesive is ready for use immediately after opening the bucket. The mass in the container should be thoroughly mixed.

Application method:

The adhesive is applied directly with a rubbing board held at an angle of 45-60° to the substrate or tile, in a layer thickness of up to 4 mm. The tile is then pressed onto the substrate, making simultaneous horizontal and vertical movements until the excess adhesive comes out. The adhesive should be applied to the entire surface of the tile or substrate.

Storage:

Store the adhesive in a dry place in the original, tightly closed containers. The shelf life of the product is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
